We were challenged to develop projects that would make a significant impact in the world during our course work at Carnegie Mellon. My team and I developed Campr. A bold solution to shake up the education landscape in the US.
A deep dive into the education landscape led us to conclude that pre-collegiate education is lacking true practical experience. Summer experiences can help fill the gap between the ruggedness of the real world and the blandness of the curriculum.

My team and I started with need discovery and guided our ideation process using contextual design tactics. We used semi-structured interviews to glean insights from school administrators, parents, camp operators and most importantly students. And developed affinity diagrams, Artifacts that were developed to crystallize our solution are presented below.
